For all the “Socaholics” around the world and those who would bare witness. Do you remember the stampede that was created when the chorus hit on this track? It was absolute chaos. You would laugh at the one dude who couldn’t handle it, but feel concern for the lady who got crushed. Machel Montano teamed up with Shaggy (remember him?) to create this classic based on the “Toro” (Spanish fighting bull) which spawned another Trinidad carnival anthem. True to form all carnival revellers who “charged” during “TORO TORO” were fully equipped with their red rags very much like bull fighters.
